What is Cosplay-Eh!™ ?

Cosplay-Eh!™ is a national, high-level cosplay championship that aims to put forward Canada’s best talent for all to see. 

How does it work?

Selections (qualifier rounds) are held all year long in various cities. Winners of the Selections gather in Montreal the following year for the Grand Finale and a Champion is crowned! 

Who can compete?

Cosplay-Eh!™ is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. Participants must be of age on the day of the contest.

How many people can compete?

Cosplay-Eh!T™ entries can be either solos or duos.

Can I compete in a costume I’ve competed in before?

Yes! *
*This excludes costumes that won previous Cosplay-Eh!™ Selections, Finale or that have won major awards at international level competitions (ie: WCS, Polymanga, Art to Play, BCC, etc.). If you are unsure if your costume qualifies, please contact us! 

What kind of costumes can enter the contest?

Costumes should be from a published source and images must exist for judges’ reference. Original designs, characters, genderbend and gijinkas (if not part of source material) are not allowed. If you are unsure if your costume qualifies, please contact us!

How are entries judged?

Cosplay-Eh!™ uses a points-based system and the scorecard is separated 50/50 between workmanship and presentation. Please see our rules page for more information on judging.
